Intuition and the New World Upon Us

July 15, Saturday Lecture 7:30 pm
members: free; non-members $20; students $10

Carl Jung identified Intuition as one of the core and universal attributes that every human being has. Why do we have this Intuition? Intuition is not a kind of “knowing,” it is a kind of experiencing. Intuition is becoming perceived as the emerging consciousness in a universe that no longer operates by the mechanistic and materialist view that we call “scientific realism” dominated by the Thinking Function. Intuition is a “gift” of higher consciousness given to support a new paradigm of reality is penetrating the scientific world. From physics, biology, astronomy, transpersonal and depth psychology, the ancient universal wisdom, and other sources, we not only influence the outcome of what we observe, but we create what we observe. We now inhabit a universe where there are no separations, no objective “things,” except as we make them into “things, and thus we are intimately involved with everything, even the galaxies. To work with this new world, we must utilize Intuition to reimagine the world, the universe, and ourselves, and to rethink the possible human and why we are here.

Jack Graham Jack Graham, M.Div., Th.M., LPC is eternally curious and hungry in the spiritual search to realize the Infinite. From an external perspective he wears a number of hats: an ordained Presbyterian minister, published Palestinian archaeologist, futurist, cultural historian, biblical scholar, psycho-mythologist, career/life-work counselor, organizational consultant, bioenergetic healer, psychotherapist, and spiritual teacher. Perhaps more defining has been his initial introduction to esoteric spirituality through Carl Jung, followed by several years of work with Sufi Sheik Murat Yagan, then eight years with a shamanic adept in the Perennial Wisdom manifest in Peruvian spirituality, followed by two decades of richest association with his teacher, Tom Hickey Ph.D., who teaches the Way of the Higher Self and the Perennial Wisdom. Jack is a Fellow of the Core Spirituality Institute (www.corespirituality.com). He says his basic “vocational disguise” is being in private practice as a licensed psychotherapist with his wife, Helen (who is a partner in all of the fore-going pursuits) and together, they have raised a family of seven children and eleven grandchildren.
