He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not…
The Animus in Dreams

March 24, Saturday Lecture 7:30 pm
members: free; non-members $20; students $10

This meeting will be held at Oglethorpe University Museum of Art

This is the third in a series of presentations based on The Way of the Dream, Fraser Boa's interviews of Marie-Louise von Franz, with commentary by Marion Woodman. I will present an introduction to Emma and Carl Jung's understanding of the psychic energies connected with the animus.  This will be followed by two video excerpts from the films in which Marie Louise von Franz discusses the positive and negative animus and the effects both have not only on the women to whom they come in dreams but to men as well who then have to deal with the ensuing  projections. Marie-Louise von Franz's remarks are humorous and to the point; she minces no words - which makes watching the films refreshing. There will be plenty of time for discussion and comments.
