Myths and Fairy Tales: Maps From the Collective Unconscious on Your Travel Through Life

July 18, Saturday Lecture 7:30 pm
members: free; non-members $20; students $10
CEUs: $25 Additional (LPC or SW)

As we travel through our lives, certain archetypal themes, originating from the unconscious, seem to guide us at various times. On the collective level, these themes can also be traced in myths and fairy tales. On the personal level they often constellate as complexes or show up in our dreams.

In this lecture/presentation you will have the opportunity to trace these themes in your own life. You will be able to create your own map of archetypal energies as they push for consciousness in the course of your emotional and spiritual development.

Jutta von Buchholtz, Ph.D.Jutta von Buchholtz, Ph.D. is a diplomate Jungian analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute, Zürich. She earned her Ph.D. in Medieval Literature from Vanderbilt University. She is particularly interested in how archetypal energies and images from myths and fairy tales impact our developmental journey.
