Conceal and Carry is a one hour, single performer play that invites the audience to ride along with the father of a school shooting victim on an all night drive towards revenge. The play tackles gun violence in America by delving into the inner psyche of the liberal gun owner, the cryptic history of the NRA, and what needs to happen to cure our addiction to guns.

After the play, Dr. Kime will help us explore Jungian perspectives on the psychic forces at work in healing—individually and communally—from incidents of mass violence. Also, we'll grapple with some Jungian approaches to understanding the specific dynamics of masculinity mentioned in the play.
